I've mentioned in my earliest posts how much I love traveling into Lynchburg. The architecture is beautiful, even at college such as Randolph College. During Easter weekend, my dad and I did an architectural photo study there. Here are the best shots:
I discovered that the architect for their main building is William Poindexter, and that the woman's college opened their doors in 1897. One thing is for sure, most alumni have a difficult time supporting the college after the its poor decision to sell works from their permanent collection and become co-ed.
