XXV.

I don't think my love for Anthropologie will ever die. I hate being located 2 hours away from the nearest one. Luckily, they're developing in Virginia Beach... 10 minutes away from my new house! I'm. SO. excited! For the new house, I've designed my dream bedroom, bathroom, and wardrobe on anthropologie.com. I look forward to my yearly trips.

I love coffee table books on art, interior designs, and architecture. Being a poor college student, I have a hard enough time affording my textbooks, yet my dad is awesome enough to save up Amazon points so I can go to town on fun books. My Amazon wishlist is always full and growing. I visit Borders or Barnes & Noble first to scope out which books I want then add them to my wishlist until I can afford them... or until they're put into the Bargain Books section.

If you click on the above link, you can see the whole collection- it's SO striking! I never would have thought of using paint swatches to create a look. I can totally imagine applying that in a room except going from dark to light starting with the bottom of the walls.

Also, I thought I would mention one more inspiration- the Earth tones are so lovely:

Whilst tooling around the Fall fashions on style.com, I noticed an interesting trend... fishermens' thigh-high boots:

More of my favorite designs for Fall:

I've always had a love affair with fashion. Moreover, I love watching people create fashion, like any other medium. Naturally some of my favorite shows include The Fashion Show and Project Runway. My favorite time of the year for fashion is always Fall and Winter. I love wearing layers, textures, and Earth tones the season tends to bring. I've completely raided style.com of my favorite designs for the Fall ready-to-wear collections from some of my favorite designers. All of these designs have inspired the fashions for my characters:

John Pugh's murals baffle me. I'm always a fan of trompe l'oeil style. I'm dying to see his murals in person.

So apparently the blue and green spirals above are the same color. I was skeptical at first as well until I read the article from Discover. My mind was definitely boggled. There's one artist I thought of when I read the article, Victor Vasarely. Oh, Optics.
