XLVI.

A jewelry company I adore, Pyrrha is no longer available in Virginia Beach. The boutique and interior design store (Wild Orchid- VB's equivalent to Anthropologie) that carried the line sadly went out of business just last month. I was lucky to snatch up a necklace and a jewelry stand during their closeout. I love Pyrrha because first they start as silver, gold, or bronze blobs, then the blobs are melted down, cooled a bit, stamped with a 19th-century wax seal, trimmed, and then become necklaces, rings, or bracelets. Another cool thing is that each seal stands for something like "Love conquers all" or "I change only in death," etc. There's a whole seal interpretation site.
