My one-hundredth post! Huzzah!

I reallyreally love this Blackberry commercial:

Today, I'm officially submitting my deposit for a trip to New York City this Spring Break. It'll be my first, and hopefully not last, time in the Big Apple. I've been told loads of times that I'll love it there, and perhaps I will. A city full of crazies sounds like my kind of shebang. I'll be staying in the Gershwin Hotel, a two star, super artsy boutique hotel in the Flatiron District. I'll be sure to take looooads of pictures, and blog about the trip. My group and I will apparently be nonstop attending dance company performances (Paul Taylor Dance Company, Sarah Skaggs Dance Company), theatre productions (Cirque du Soleil: Banana Shpeel), a tour of the Baryshnikov Arts Center, a tour the permanent collection at the MoMA, and much more. It should be a very cool experience.

Allow me to introduce you to realist painter Abbey Ryan:

I'm partial to her earlier still life paintings though her work is always beautiful. She has a series of very cool time-lapses on YouTube showing the process of how she paints several pieces. Her current work is for sale on her blog via eBay, and sells quickly so be sure to check it daily.

I am so excited for Yokoo and Chromat!

Some of Yokoo's knitwear is now being sold here at Urban Outfitters. I featured her a while ago in one of my Etsy seller posts.

As far as Chromat, Becca mentioned in her blog that she is currently putting her cages and drop crotch pants into production for the International Playground shop in New York.

I am sure we will be seeing more of these two designers in the near future.

Oh my goodness. I love this November issue of Nylon, mostly because Blake Lively is on the cover and she is just amazing. I'm spazzing for the Donna Karan jacket and Thomas Wylde hat:

I wanted to share with you several of my favorite sellers on Etsy:

Michele Maule
I'm partial to her original mixed media collages. They're affordable and since each piece has a consistent color palette, these would make for a great collection.

Knit Storm
I'm crazy for the flower iPod case, but the tea collar wins my heart.

Dillon Designs

I'm a fan of her Shrinky-Dink rings. Who would have thought plastic could be cute?

More sellers soon!
