I took loads more today but I'll post those another time. Also, my laptop (which doesn't receive internet) has more Chrysler shots, mostly of the medieval and contemporary works. Hopefully I can access those sometime soon and post them. It'll give me something to do while I lie around and resolve my knee problems.

XLII.
I took a trip to the Chrylser in Norfolk today with my boyfriend and his 6-year-old brother. The little one hadn't been to a museum yet, and he likes to paint, so we thought it was necessary. Also, more incentive, Wednesdays are free admission. As always, I took shots of some of the masters' works:

(The above pieces were part of the glass exhibition. I wasn't supposed to take pictures of them... but no one was looking... so I had to.)
(Henri Matisse)
(Matisse)
(John Singleton Copley)
(Jean Baptiste Siméon Chardin)
(Pierre Bonnard)

My shoe selection is forever lacking. I've always had a love affair with boots... especially Golden Goose boots from shopbop.com. If I had a pair of these babies, I would never have a reason to wear other shoes. I would be completely bankrupt (and then some) considering they're $1180-$1350. The prices make sense since they're also handmade in Italy.

XXXIX.
I love the Leifsdottir line. With my birthday in one month... and Christmas in five months... I'm hoping to score this cardigan:

It's SO beautiful!

With the new house being built, I've been doing some fantasy room planning. Like I've mentioned before, I'm a huge fan of Anthropologie. Well, I'm also a huge fan of its sibling companies, Urban Outfitters, Free People, Terrain, and Leifsdottir.
I've compiled my favorite UO apartment items. Maybe we'll see these designs in my room; maybe not. We'll find out!

XXXV.
I've mentioned in my earliest posts how much I love traveling into Lynchburg. The architecture is beautiful, even at college such as Randolph College. During Easter weekend, my dad and I did an architectural photo study there. Here are the best shots:

I discovered that the architect for their main building is William Poindexter, and that the woman's college opened their doors in 1897. One thing is for sure, most alumni have a difficult time supporting the college after the its poor decision to sell works from their permanent collection and become co-ed.
